fruits refer to their thoughts, the inclinations of their hearts, the words of their mouths and the result of their actions.

Their
works mean the things they put in place: man-made doctrines, customs and
traditions, hypocrisy, works that are contrary to the Holy Spirit. |

The
wrong leaders tend to be proud, covetous, false and oppressive. They are more
interested in defending their honours than in
knowing the Truth and doing the right thing. |
They
are not humble enough to recognize and respond to the Holy Spirit, and are
not ready to receive and obey the teachings and corrections from Heaven being
delivered to them through the ordinary people or by those inspired and
experienced in spiritual realities of life. |
“…They make their phylacteries broad and enlarge
the borders of their garments. 6 They love the best places at feasts, the
best seats in the synagogues, 7 greetings in the marketplaces, and to be called
by men, 'Rabbi, Rabbi.' (They love to be called ‘Reverend, Reverend,’ even
when they are not doing the works of reverend.) ” Matthew 23:5-8 |

Their
fruits refer to the end result of their teachings, beliefs and practices,
which blind people, lead multitudes away from the path of Truth, and mislead
people into the hell fire. |
They
teach the figments of imaginations, the fabrications of falsehood and the
deceptions of the enemy. And people do not know that such a thing is
happening. |

"Woe to you, scribes and
Pharisees (religious leaders), hypocrites! For you travel land and sea to win
one proselyte (strive to convert a new member), and when he is won, you make
him twice as much a son of hell as yourselves (teach him beliefs and
practices that end him up in the hell fire)." Matthew 23:15 |

They
take the leadership positions in religions and churches, do not enter the
kingdom because they are not doing the right things, and they prevent others
from entering. |
They
hold people captives by making them ordinary members of the churches, without
developing the spiritual abilities of the people. Also, they teach people
that their religion and church are the best, when indeed they are among the
worst. |
Again,
“13 "But woe to you, scribes and
Pharisees, hypocrites (religious leaders)! For you shut up the kingdom of
heaven against men; for you neither go in yourselves, nor do you allow those
who are entering to go in.” Matthew 23:13-14 |

They
mislead multitudes into he hell fire. |
Most
of the religious leaders are not spiritually awake, enlightened and
experienced. Therefore, they are teachings wrong beliefs and practices. |
Let
them alone, they are blind leaders. And if a blind man leads the blind, both
shall fall into a pit. |

Their
religions and churches are causing conflicts, crisis and confusion. |
The
religions claim to know and teach the truth, but everyday happenings show
that they do not know and teach the Truth. All because their teachings are contradictory.
If they had known the truth, they would be teaching the same thing. |
You
do not put a new wine into an old wine skin. If you do, the wine skin bursts
and both wine and container are lost. Just as an old piece clothe is not used
to mend a new dress. If you do, a worst tear is made. |

They profess to know God, but in works (of unGodliness)
they deny Him, being abominable (false and contrary teaching), disobedient (unGodly), and disqualified (not acceptable as Godly) for
every good work. Titus 1:15-16 |
They
have replaced God’s commandments with man-made doctrines made at meetings,
councils, synods and conferences. Abominations. That is why many religions
are working against God even without knowing it. |

introduce and continue religious politics, which is an abomination in spirit,
for God’s love does not discriminate. |
They do everything possible to remain in
leadership positions, even when they are not doing the right thing. |

But all their works they do to be seen by men. |

Wearing
of crosses and rosaries. |
Kissing
the objects, bowing down to them, sprinkling flower chips on them, applying
the incense to them, etc. |
Jesus
proved that an outward profession of religion, however remarkable, will not
bring us to heaven. |

take decisions. |

consulting God. |

routine and worldwide uniformity in worship. |
These
approaches prevent the Holy Spirit from doing great works of salvation and
deliverances. |

It was these fruits and works
(falsehood, customs, traditions and man-made doctrines) that John the Baptist
referred to saying,
"The
voice of one crying in the wilderness:
'Prepare the way of the LORD;
Make His paths straight.
5 Every valley shall be filled
And every mountain and hill brought low;
The crooked places shall be made
straight
And the rough ways smooth;
6 And all flesh shall see the salvation
of God.'"
Luke 3:4-6
Indeed, by their fruits you shall know them,
and by
their works you shall confirm them.
